According to the US Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 35% of Americans work on the weekend. In addition, 35% of those who do work on weekends are normally scheduled to work only on weekdays. Many experts believe that the ability to do business from computers via email and over the Internet has contributed to the increase in the percentage of people who work on Saturdays and Sundays.
